Our printing carries only a subtle impression of ink, preserving the longevity of our precious metal type, for which there are fewer than two dozen manufacturers remaining in the UK. It's not about holding onto the past—it’s about offering an alternative to mass consumerism. If yes, you're likely right-handed.

We recognise that right isn't always right. To celebrate our lefty friends and family, we've designed a pencil which appears the right way up in a left hand.

The pencils are made in England, from FSC-certified timber. There is a limited amount of lacquer on the pencils so you can see the gorgeous colouring of the wood barrel.
