There is a limited amount of lacquer on the pencils so you can see the gorgeous colouring of the wood barrel. The pencils are \"B\" grade, which means they're a little softer than a \"regular\" (HB) pencil, and shouldn't dig into the paper as you're writing, or smudge under your hand. The Acorn \u0026amp; Mire logo is printed, by hand, from wood type on our vintage printing press. The packaging is entirely recycled paper that's made in the UK. That's right: it's plastic-free!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese pencils are the perfect gift for a friend, family members, colleague, or even yourself!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThey're also available in right-handed orientation if you're so inclined.
