Books & Broadsheets

Every book in this collection began outside on Dartmoor. The writing, the inks draw inspiration from bogs, hedgerows, and incredible vistas of the Dartmoor landscape.

Some of the books are practical: field notes on foraging for colour, making botanical ink, making botanical pigments from wild plants. Others are essays: short meditations on what this place holds, and prompts to help you get outside.

These are books about Dartmoor's wild colour, its pollen record, its long seasonal rhythms. Made for artists working with natural materials, for people who love this landscape and want to carry something of it home, and for anyone curious about how place becomes pigment, and pigment becomes print.
